KLINCH vs Cursor
Both put an AI agent next to your code. Cursor is a full desktop editor for your local checkout; KLINCH is a browser workspace that works on GitHub directly.
Where you work
Cursor is installed on your computer and edits a local clone, with a terminal, debugger and extensions. KLINCH needs no install: open a repository and branch in any browser, including on a machine where you can't or don't want to set up a dev environment.
How changes reach GitHub
In a desktop editor you commit and push yourself. In KLINCH the agent stops at a proposal; you accept files in a diff and KLINCH writes one commit through the GitHub API, which can trigger your deploy.
Models and pricing
KLINCH is bring-your-own-key only: any OpenAI-compatible provider, billed by that provider, and KLINCH itself is free during the beta. Check Cursor's site for its current plans and model options.
Which one to choose
Choose Cursor for day-long sessions in a full local IDE with builds and debugging. Choose KLINCH for quick, reviewed changes to GitHub repositories from anywhere, with the model and provider of your choice.
